Abstract

Wewenang Polisi Kehutanan yang cukup luas tidak serta merta mencegah kerusakan hutan yang diakibatkan oleh tindak pidana illegal logging. Hal lain yang menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya illegal logging adalah minimnya jumlah petugas keamanan hutan dan kurangnya sarana pengamanan hutan yang dimiliki oleh pemerintah yang digunakan oleh petugas dalam menjaga keamanan hutan dari tindak pidana illegal logging.
