PENINGKATAN KINERJA GURU MELALUI KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL DAN KELOMPOK KERJA GURU (KKG) SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI GUGUS III KECAMATAN GUNUNG AGUNG TULANG BAWANG BARAT

Abstract


Improving the quality of education at the elementary school level becomes a government commitment that must be realized in real terms. One of the steps taken by the government by improving the quality of teachers, because the teacher is one of the pillars where determining the success of educational activities should be given attention, given the success of the learning process is very difficult to achieve if the performance of teachers low. From the results of research that researchers do various problems that emerged in cluster III of professionalism among teachers: Minimnya reliable human resources of the activities that took place, The low interest of teachers to work programs organized so that the participation rate is low, KKG activity significantly yet can improve the professionalism of teachers. The focus of this research is: (1) professional performance on teacher performance, (2) teacher working group (KKG) on teacher performance, and (3) improvement of teacher performance through professional competence and teacher working group (KKG). This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The sample of the research is 9 informants with data collection technique using interview and observation method, technique of data validity using triangulation (method and source). Data analysis was obtained by using the data analysis procedure as follows: (1) Research data collection, (2) Research data reduction, (3) Display of research data, (4) Data verification and drawing conclusion.
