MODUL PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN AGLAONEMA BERBASIS MODIFIED INQUIRY UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KETERAMPILAN HIPOTESIS PESERTA DIDIK
Abstract
Hypothesis skills are the reasoning basis of a theory to explain a problem that comes from observation and experimentation which is very necessary to carry out the psychomotor competence of students. The learning process that emphasizes scientific thinking has not been fully designed by educators. It is evident from the analysis of the research background of 5 Biology Education students at the Muhammadiyah Metro University in 2020, students at senior high school have difficulty in formulating a hypothesis. The modified inquiry method is one of the learning methods that emphasizes the process of hypothetical skills. The purpose of this study was to develop a modified inquiry-based aglaonema plant growth module that can build students' hypothetical skills.
This development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis - Design - Development - Implementation - Evaluation) model. The results of design validation obtained an assessment of 88% with very good assessment criteria, the results of material validation obtained an average rating of 89.33% with very good assessment criteria. The results of the assessment of student responses are 87.13% with very good assessment criteria. The percentage of students' responses to the understanding of developing hypothetical skills is 83.8% with very good assessment criteria. In conclusion, the Aglaonema plant growth module based on the Modified inquiry model can develop students' hypothetical skills.
