PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI SOSIALISASI DAN PENDAMPINGAN PERIZINAN USAHA MIKRO DAN KECIL

Abstract

One of the problems currently faced by the government in effort to improve and develop micro and small enterpreneurship is about business licensing. From the result of survey conducted in Metro City, most entrepreneurs do not have licence. The main reason of this problem is because negative perception of entrepreneur regarding the licensing process which is charged a relatively expensive administrative cost and long processing time. This negative perception arises because of their lack of knowledge about the benefits of licensing and how to manage IUMK licensing in accordance with the provisions of legislation. One solution to solve the problem, we performed socialization and direct assistance to the entrepreneur in order to increase their knowladge and provide definite understanding, so it is expected to encourage and motivate them to take care of licensing. In addition, through coaching activities, we will provide direction and direct assistance to them who are interested to take care of licensing. There are 35 participants we have accompanied andonly 3 participants who have succesed and got IUMK, the rest of participant is still in the process of collecting the requirements file. Having IUMK can facilitate as legality, and can be used to gain wider access of capital. In addition, the outcomes of this socialization will be summarized in an out-of-activity poster, published in ISSN journals and newspaper publications.
