Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Masyarakat Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Penularan Dan Penyebaran COVID-19

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular berpotensi kematian yang disebabkan SARS-COV2. Meningkatnya kasus COVID-19 dipengaruhi perilaku masyarakat dalam mencegah dan memutus mata rantai penularan. Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, membagikan masker, hand sanitizer, dan leaflet, memasang poster himbauan, serta pemberian bantuan sarana cuci tangan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di kelurahan padat penduduk yang besar potensi penyebaran. Pengabdian telah mengedukasi 100 rumah tangga dengan pemberian masker, hand sanitizer, dan leaflet, memasang spanduk di tempat terbuka, serta pemberian dua unit sarana cuci tangan. Pemasangan sarana cuci tangan di Pusat Kesehatan Kelurahan (Poskeskel) dan Balai Kelurahan. Diharapkan, kegiatan pengabdian dapat dilanjutkan dengan melibatkan mitra yang lebih luas.

ABSTRACT
Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a potentially fatal infectious disease caused by the SARS-COV2. The increasing COVID-19 cases are influenced by people's behavior in preventing and breaking the chain of transmission. Community service aims to increase community knowledge through outreach activities, distributing masks, hand sanitizers, and leaflets, placing appeals posters, and providing hand washing facilities. The activity is carried out in a densely populated urban village with a large potential for distribution. Community service has educated 100 households by giving masks, hand sanitizers, and leaflets, installing banners in the open space, and giving two units of hand-washing facilities. Installation of hand-washing facilities at the Village Health Center (Poskeskel) and the Village Office. It is hoped that community service activities can be continued by involving a wider range of partners.
