Abstract

ABSTRAK

Persaingan global menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi generasi muda. Banyak generasi muda yang memiliki kepercayaan dan motivasi yang rendah ketika harus berhadapan dengan para pesaing di luar lingkunganya. Kemampuan beradaptasi dan membaca peluang merupakan hal yang ditakutkan oleh generasi muda untuk bersaing. Hal tersebut juga dialami oleh para peserta didik kelas XII ketika hendak bersaing dengan para lulusan dari sekolah lain dalam pemilihan studi lanjut dan juga persaingan memperoleh pekerjaan. Melalui kegiatan training motivasii dengan Tema “Motivation Building” Menghadapi Persaingan Global Peserta Didik SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Metro” tim pengabdi ingin membantu para generasi muda agar memiliki kepercayaan yang tinggi, motivasi yang kuat untuk memenangkan persaingan dengan para lulusan dari sekolah lain dalam studi lanjut dan dunia pekerjaan. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan selama satu minggi dengan bentuk training motivasi, tips dan trik memenangkan persaingan dengan lulusan sekolah lain. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan dukungan dan kemitraan yang baik antara program studi bimbingan dan konseling dengan pihak SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro

ABSTRACT

Global competition is a challenge for the younger generation. Many young people have low confidence and motivation when they have to deal with competitors outside their environment. The ability to adapt and read opportunities is something that the younger generation is afraid of to compete. This is also experienced by students of class XII when they want to compete with graduates from other schools in the selection of further studies and also competition for jobs. Through motivational training activities with the theme ""Motivation Building" Facing the Competition of Smk Muhammadiyah 1 Metro City Students" the service team wants to help the younger generation to have high confidence, strong motivation to win the competition with graduates from other schools in further studies and world of work. Mentoring activities are carried out for one week in the form of motivational training, tips and tricks to win the competition with other school graduates. Service activities are carried out with the support and good partnership between the guidance and counseling study program and the SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro
