Peningkatan Literasi Edukasi dan Perancangan Study Plan bagi Pemuda Desa Paras, Klaten

Pendidikan merupakan kunci penting untuk membuka peluang masa depan yang lebih baik. Di era modern ini, kesempatan untuk mengenyam pendidikan tinggi lebih terbuka dan dapat diakses oleh siapa saja, termasuk pemuda dari desa terpencil seperti Desa Paras. Meskipun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pemuda Desa Paras dalam melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi masih sangat besar. Akses informasi yang terbatas, keterbatasan biaya, dan kurangnya dukungan moril menjadi hambatan utama yang harus diatasi untuk mewujudkan impian mereka melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah peningkatan literasi edukasi terkait pemilihan universitas dan ketersediaan pilihan program studi. Melalui workshop, pemuda akan mendapatkan informasi lengkap tentang berbagai universitas di sekitar mereka, termasuk perangkingan dan kualitas kampus. Informasi ini akan membantu mereka membuat keputusan yang lebih baik mengenai pilihan universitas dan program studi yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 29 Juni 2024 dengan tahapan pre-test, penyampaian materi, post-test, dan pembagian doorprize. Dari hasil survei ditemukan bahwa para peserta telah memiliki pengetahuan dasar terkait persiapan untuk melanjutkan studi di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Selain itu, mereka menunjukkan antusiasme pada informasi seputar program studi, akreditasi kampus, dan juga peluang beasiswa. Dukungan orangtua dan masyarakat serta persiapan dari jenjang pendidikan sebelumnya sangat diperlukan untuk memberi wawasan awal.
