Abstract

The pioneering of the reading park as an effort to empower the community through information literacy programs aims to increase reading interest so that no illiterate community can provide various types of reading material as a source of information to the public. The target of this program is the community of Nepo village, Tanasitolo sub-district, Wajo district, which is assisted by partners to provide a place for implementing the reading park. The reading park has an important role in helping the community by providing information sources and providing services in the field of reading materials, in the form of; books, magazines, tabloids, newspapers, comics and other multimedia materials, also equipped with reading rooms.
