Correction and Retraction
Journal Turbo is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. When significant errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified in published articles, the journal will take appropriate corrective actions, including corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, as necessary.
Corrections
Corrections are issued when a published article contains errors that do not invalidate the overall findings, interpretations, or conclusions of the research but require clarification or amendment.
Corrections may be published in cases involving:
- Errors in author names, affiliations, or contact information.
- Minor inaccuracies in data, tables, figures, or references.
- Typographical or editorial errors that may affect understanding of the article.
- Omissions or inaccuracies that require clarification but do not compromise the scientific validity of the study.
Corrections will be linked to the original article and clearly indicate the nature of the changes made.
Retractions
Retractions are issued when the findings or integrity of a published article are significantly compromised and can no longer be considered reliable.
An article may be retracted for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
- Serious errors in data, methodology, analysis, or reporting that invalidate the study's conclusions.
- Duplicate or redundant publication.
- Unethical research practices or violations of research ethics requirements.
- Undisclosed conflicts of interest that substantially affect the credibility of the work.
- Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of protected materials.
A retraction notice will be published and permanently linked to the original article. The notice will clearly state the reason(s) for retraction while maintaining transparency and preserving the scholarly record.
Expression of Concern
In situations where an investigation is ongoing and conclusive evidence is not yet available, Journal Turbo may publish an Expression of Concern to alert readers to potential issues associated with a published article.
An Expression of Concern may be issued when:
- There is credible evidence of potential misconduct.
- An institutional investigation is pending.
- Serious questions have been raised regarding the reliability of the research findings.
The notice may be updated, corrected, or replaced by a correction or retraction once the investigation is completed.
Investigation Procedure
When a potential issue is identified, the Editorial Board will:
- Conduct a preliminary assessment of the allegation or reported error.
- Request explanations and supporting documentation from the author(s).
- Consult reviewers, editorial board members, or relevant institutions when necessary.
- Evaluate the available evidence objectively and confidentially.
- Determine the appropriate editorial action based on the findings.
During the investigation process, the journal may temporarily suspend further editorial actions related to the article.
Author Cooperation
Authors are expected to cooperate fully with any investigation concerning their published work. Failure to respond to editorial inquiries may result in corrective actions being taken based on the available evidence.
Transparency and Record Preservation
To preserve the integrity of the scholarly record:
- Corrected articles will remain accessible with clear indications of the corrections made.
- Retracted articles will remain available online with a clear retraction notice and watermark where appropriate.
- Retraction notices will identify the reason for retraction and the party initiating the retraction whenever possible.
- The journal will not remove published articles except in exceptional circumstances involving legal requirements or public safety concerns.

The Editorial Board of Journal Turbo is responsible for ensuring that corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions are handled promptly, fairly, transparently, and in accordance with recognized standards of publication ethics.
