PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NHT (NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER) MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to use the NHT Cooperative Learning Model to increase the activity and learning outcomes of class VI B students at Pertiwi Teladan Metro Elementary School, Central Metro District, semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year in mathematics. This research is an action research project conducted in the classroom together. This research was conducted for two cycles. The stages of the cycle are as follows: planning, executing, observing, and reflecting. Observation tests and sheets were used in this study to collect data. The results of the study showed an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes. The class average score in the pre-action increased from 6.59 to 7.23 in cycle I and then to 8.28 in cycle II, indicating this. In addition, the increase in student activity by 90.50% during the cycle is determined by observational data. In cycle II it increased again to reach 94.05 percent. so that students seem more involved in learning activities, which include group activities, question and answer sessions, and discussions. Thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the NHT (Numbered Heads Together) type can increase student activity and learning outcomes.
