HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL DENGAN EFIKASI DIRI GURU SMP DI KECAMATAN BANDAR SRIBHAWONO KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract


This study aims to investigate: (1) the relationship between emotional quotient and self efficacy, (2) the relationship between Professional competence, and (3) the relationship between emotional quotient and professional competence as an aggregate self efficacy.This was a quantitative study. The research population comprised teachers at Junior High School at Bandar Sribhawonoin East Lampung regency. The sample consisted of 66 respondents from 9 Junior High School at  Bandar sribhawono in East Lampung regency. The data were gained by a questionnaire answered by the respondents. The data analysis tehnique in the study was multiple correlation analysis by using SPSS 21.0 program. The results ofthe study are as follows: (1) there is a significant positive relationship between the variable of emotional quotient and the variable self efficacy. This indicated by a correlation coefficient was 0,494 and a significance value was 0,000 (2)There is a significant positive relationship between the variable of professional competence and the variable of self efficacy. This indicated by a correlation coefficient was 0,209 and significance value was 0,046. (3) There is a significant positive relationship between the variable of emotional quotient and the variable of professional competence and the variable of self efficacy. This indicated by the results of the R (multiple correlation)  was 0,000. It show that the variables of emotional quotient and the variable of professional competence as an aggregate affect the self efficacy.
