This research aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the marketing chain of rice and paddy farming income in the village of Dohoagung-Balongpanggang-Gresik. Respondents were determined using a random method, constituting 15% of the population, resulting in a sample size of 27 individuals, considered representative of the overall 182 farmers. The analytical tools employed were marketing margin analysis and income analysis.
The findings reveal three marketing channel models in the Dohoagung village, Balongpanggang sub-district, Gresik regency. All three models involve indirect marketing, engaging intermediary traders, wholesalers, and retailers. The profit margins vary across the channels. The profit margin in the first channel is Rp.2,760, in the second channel is Rp.2,880, and in the third channel is Rp.2,360, indicating the highest margin is obtained in the second channel. The average income for rice farmers is Rp.7,865,819.
