MOTIVASI KEGIATAN PENTAS SENI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN POTENSI BAKAT SISWA DI SMA N 15 PALEMBANG

This research discusses the implementation of performing arts activities at SMAN 15 Palembang. It is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation methods, with research informants including the Principal, Teachers, Student Council (OSIS), and Students. The data analysis techniques employed include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the implementation of performing arts activities at SMAN 15 Palembang is well underway and conducted effectively. This can be observed through several stages carried out by the school principal in providing direction, coordination, communication, and motivation. Supporting factors for event management in the implementation of performing arts activities include the unity and togetherness of students/participants, committee members, and teachers/staff who enliven the event, ensuring its success until the end. As for inhibiting factors, there are no significant hindering factors, such as financial issues, facilities, and equipment problems that may not fully meet the needs but do not impede the course of the event.
