HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS 3 SDN 34 MENSERE

Abstract


This research aims to: (1) To determine the level of Emotional Intelligence of grade 3 students at SDN 34 Mensere; (2) to determine the level of mathematics learning outcomes of grade 3 students at SDN 34 Mensere; (3) to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes. This research method is a quantitative descriptive research method. The subjects of this research were all 3rd grade students at SDN 34 Mensere. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire test technique to measure the level of emotional intelligence and documentation to measure the level of learning outcomes through students' mathematics test scores. The data analysis technique uses quantitative analysis techniques (sugiyono). The results of this research show that (1) Based on data analysis and categorization of the emotional intelligence of class 3 students at SDN 34 Mensere, it shows that the emotional intelligence of students is in the high category with a percentage of 71%, very high 29%, fair 0%, low 0 % and very low 0%. (2) Based on the categorization analysis of mathematics learning outcomes, it shows that student learning outcomes are in the sufficient category which has the highest percentage, namely 35%. (3) After carrying out descriptive statistical analysis of emotional intelligence and student learning outcomes, an inferential analysis was carried out by carrying out a normality test, product moment correlation test, and determinant correlation test. Based on the results of the normality test, the significance value was > ? which was normally distributed, based on the product moment correlation test, it has an rxy value of 0.16, which means that emotional intelligence and learning outcomes have a relationship, while for the determinant correlation, emotional intelligence and learning outcomes have a significant relationship with a percentage of 15.6%.
