Appeals
Authors may appeal editorial decisions when they believe that significant procedural errors, factual misunderstandings, conflicts of interest, or inappropriate editorial practices have affected the outcome.
Appeals must be submitted through an authorized editorial communication channel.
An appeal should identify:
- The manuscript and submission number.
- The decision being challenged.
- The reasons for the appeal.
- Relevant supporting evidence.
The Editor-in-Chief or an uninvolved qualified editor should review the appeal fairly.
An appeal does not automatically suspend or reverse the editorial decision.
