Licensing

1. PERMITTED USE

Material published in At-Tajdid: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) may be copied, shared, redistributed, translated, adapted, and incorporated into other works in any medium, including for commercial purposes, provided that the license terms are observed. These permissions also cover educational reuse and text and data mining.

Uses already permitted under CC BY 4.0 do not require additional approval from the journal or payment of reuse fees. Adapted works are not required to carry the same license.

2. ATTRIBUTION AND CONDITIONS

When reusing licensed material, users must:

  • Give appropriate credit and preserve relevant attribution statements, copyright notices, and license information.

  • Provide a link to CC BY 4.0, indicate any modifications, and retain notices identifying previous changes.

  • Include the article citation and its DOI or source link whenever reasonably practicable.

  • Avoid suggesting that the authors, At-Tajdid: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam, or its publisher endorse the reuse.

  • Refrain from applying legal conditions or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

Attribution may be presented in any reasonable manner suited to the medium and context of use. This policy summarises the license and does not introduce additional licensing conditions.

3. SCOPE AND CONTINUITY

Users should examine credit statements accompanying third-party content, as such material may be governed by separate terms. CC BY 4.0 does not necessarily provide patent, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights beyond its scope. Permission is not required where use is independently permitted by applicable legal exceptions or where the material is in the public domain.

A valid license remains effective even if an article is subsequently corrected, retracted, or removed from the journal website, provided that users continue to comply with its conditions.

License details are presented on article pages and in publication files. Any verified license previously assigned to an individual article must be accurately reflected. Updates to the journal website do not automatically change the licenses governing previously published content.
